As the stigma around mental health and performance continues to fall away and athletes continue to search for ways to gain a competitive edge, mental performance has ceased to be a “nice to have” and evolved into an absolute necessity. That’s why I’m here.

Paige’s Story
As a former Division I collegiate athlete and team captain, I know what it’s like to compete in high-pressure situations.
I know what you’re going through. I’ve been there.
I know how it feels to prepare your body to the absolute best of your ability in training, yet step out on the court and fall victim to that little voice in the back of your head that’s telling you “you’re not good enough.” I know how draining it can be to go through the college recruiting process, and I know how challenging it can be to compete at the Division I level while trying to manage your education and career trajectory.
However, I also know that the answers to all of these challenges lie within you. (Yes, you.) I know that there is a way to quiet your inner critic and compete in a state of flow - allowing you to perform at a level beyond what you might have previously thought to be imaginable.
Through coaching, you are going to have the opportunity to explore and understand your heart, mind and soul. Together, we are going to look at your mindset in a way that will allow it to work for you - not against you.

Mental performance coaching is the process of working with a coach to overcome your limiting beliefs and mental blocks that prevent you from performing at your peak potential. This involves creating self-awareness, understanding emotions, and developing the necessary tools and strategies to develop and maintain a mindset that works for you - not against you.

The short answer is that everyone can benefit from working with a mental performance coach. Similar to how athletes don't wait until they're injured to start stretching and recovering, you shouldn't wait until you're struggling to work with a mental performance coach. Mental performance coaching isn't just for those who have a negative mindset or feel like they are overwhelmed. It's also for the athletes who are doing "pretty well", but know in their heart that they are not performing at their highest potential. At the beginning of our work together, we will spend time in what I call the "excavation" phase. In this phase, we work diligently to uncover your current mindset and the mental blocks (or weak spots) that you may or may not be aware of. This gives us a firm understanding of where you currently are so that we can create a more accurate road map to get you to where you want to be (your goals/desired outcome). Then, we move into the re-build phase. Here, you will work to release and transcend your old thought patterns and re-create ones that serve you. While it may not happen right away, a commitment to the process during this phase is the most important focus. After that, we move into the implementation phase. This is where you solidify your plans for action and the changes that you will make going forward. Afterall, awareness isn't worth much unless it leads to desirable action. You don't sign up for coaching to simply become aware. You sign up for coaching because you want to actually make a change. Throughout the process, I guide you through intentional question asking, reflective inquiry, and teaching of skills and techniques that are used by many high performers around the world.
